Boarding at Cypress - 1st Run Of The Year
Well I finally began my boarding season this year. My roommates and I headed up to Cypress Mountain for a few night runs. It was raining in the city when we left and only for the first hour at the mountain. The first few runs were rough but overall it was awesome snow. I keep forgetting how long these runs are out in BC. In Ontario I think you spend more time on the chairlift than you do speeding down the hill. My roommates were taking it a bit slower than I was, so I would do a couple runs by myself and meet them on the next chairlift. Unfortunately it was night boarding so there wasn’t any chance of taking a good picture.
We finally grabbed some dinner around 7:30 and by the time we were done that we were EXHAUSTED. Surprisingly enough 3 hours of boarding and the next morning I wasn’t sore. Probably because I didn’t bail the entire night
